Herbert Moon's scene was the best part of the Undead Nightmare dlc.

I hate how the horses control but the game is kind of fun so far.

Okay, two of the stranger missions ended with learning that someone was already did.

Are all of these gonna be gonna like this? Because I'll tell ya "American Appetites" sure as hell does not make me hopeful for the future if the title implies what I think it implies happened to the boy.

You start to pick up the controls as you go along. I got used to the horse movement after a little while as well as everything else. The story is a bit cut and dry in the beginning but it picks up and John gets so much cooler.

John gets way better later, the stranger missions are aq bit hit and miss.

I like John as is, I thought he would be like some huge action hero but he's a pretty mellowed out guy.

Also, what happens to these families after their people go missing? It feels bad when I try to help some of these people and don't see the results.

Generally speaking things work out happily for most people american appetisers is kinda grim but if you do the right thing it can end happily.

I just killed the Cannibal. Jesus christ, someone down in development must love them some Wes Craven.

If you go hang around the norther part past hanging rock near the mountains you can randomly get attacked by a cannibal. It's weird as shit.

I'd also advise to start the stranger quest "I Know You" as soon as you can and complete it each time the next part of it is available. You can't beat it post-game.

Also what the fuck was with John's attitude towards the cannibal? So you can help a somewhat assholish sheriff but helping out a man who is about to be eaten is just too much of a hassle for you, you fucking dick?

Yeah thats half the reason i thought he was a cock lat the beginning. But its also partly due to the fact its for his own gain helping the sheriff. Although in the bigger picture the bad moral choices make no sense as its quite clear john is good.

It's probably just because it's such a side-track and he wants to get on with his own business.

I like how the horses control themselves whenever you're aiming, it made saving West easier than I thought it would be.

Uh i'm not really sure, they all got a bit boring but at least a couple had duels i.e. wronged woman.

I know you was pretty cool, and i kinda liked how that writer always was found in the middle of a shootout, but the flying one was pretty damn funny.

Got a new game now and I am currently trying to find Bonnie's dad... again. Thankfully I was not that far in the game before it got stolen otherwise I would've lost my cool big time.

I played RDR for a fortnight pretty solidly, but got a little bored. The story had failed to gather any real pace (I had no missions available other than West Dicken's stupid Horse Racing) and I found myself having more fun doing pointless sidequests.

Then I got distracted by other games and haven't touched RDR for a while. It's a fantastic game world, beautifully realised with some lovely touches but as I said above the main story just potters along and even fifteen or so hours in (discounting the hours spent cocking about) hasn't really got going yet. It feels like the game may even have benefited from being smaller because at least then it could be more story-driven and focussed, and not feel like you're doing "filler" story missions.

I hate Herbert Moon in Poker, the fucker.
