Rockstar's magnum opus is about to get a sequel, so hoping for the absolute best game possible in the good old west.

Annoying how some people are going on about how it should be "RDR3," even though it's a sequel/prequel/whichever to REDEMPTION, not REVOLVER. Heck, even if it was called Red Dead Redemption 3, that still wouldn't make sense because it doesn't follow the original line of titling. It'd have to be another name like "Red Dead Retribution" or "Red Dead Revolution" or "Red Dead Revengeance" or "Red Dead Rampage" or "Red Dead Redder" or "Red Dead Rango" or "Red Dead Ride" or "Red Dead Rocket" or "Red Dead Rugrats" or "Red Dead Redemption Rises" or whatever.

I wonder if it'll be a prequel or its own thing without story connecting from either Revolver or Redemption

He's just disappointed we didn't get our Rockstar pirate-themed game already. I feel profound sadness over it too. But RDR2's reveal is still joyous news. It's like playing land-pirates.

Naah, not my cup of tea in general, cant stand GTA either. Played an hour of RDR, saved and never touched it again.

I would be cool with that. An Open World sandbox pirate game with ship battles, sword and gun combat, and about billion things to do because its Rockstar and they will blow all the money and gain it in back in a day.

Not really, it's fun for a while to just fuck around in it, but i get bored of that pretty quick.
I think the only game in this style i've ever finished is Infamous.
