Longest gaming session

What is the longest you've spent playing a game, consecutively (excluding food/shit/piss breaks)?

I recall spending 18 hours on Desert Storm (I was 9 or so. I can complete the game easily in around 10 hours now.)
Sadly, I have never had the energy or time to pull off anything over 20 or so.

Probably 8 tops, that would have had to have been a helluva addictive game though.

I once played Resistance 2 online for 11 hours straight. Not proud of it, and I was so very tired afterwards, haha.

I played Fist of the North Star all day on Sunday, I'm sure I've had longer than that but that's the longest recently I can remember.

Actually, thinking back on it, it might have been 12.

Probably about 16 hours on Fallout 3 or KH2.

Must've been KH2. I finished it in three consecutive days, so I probably spent 10 hours a day on it.

I bought a Gamecube just because of RE4. But I completely forgot about buying a memory card, so I kept playing from a Friday night until a Saturday night, excluding bathroom breaks. I was sure that the Gamecube would've melted before then or something.

Desert storm is an insanely addictive (but frustrating game). I only spent 18 hours on it because I was stuck in the house, with lots of caffeine to keep me awake, it was rainy outside all through the day and late night, and it was the only game I had at the time.

I can't think of specifics, but if a game really gets it's hooks in me I can rattle through as many hours in the day as the Mrs will allow. Seven or eight hours isn't unheard of.

Pokemon. When Red and Blue came out. I would play my gamboy and take it with me everywhere I went. I played it at school under my desk, I would play it all night sometimes and not go to sleep until the following school day aswell.

I had cases of double A batteries.. So I'd say if it counts maybe a week straight. The only breaks were when I had were sleep, to physically do something or talk to someone... there were no bathroom breaks.

Gold and Silver were even worse.

On a day off, I can go from when I first wake up (which is usually about 2 PM or so.) to when I've enough and need to sleep. (which varies from 3 AM to 5:30 AM.)

Can't remember. When I bought DQ8 a while ago I spent about 6 hours on it at a time for the first few days.

When Pokemon Sapphire was released, I didn't even sleep that night. For two days I was only playing non-stop.

I feel like a no-life since I went on a 18 hour stint :/
There is no way I could do that now though. The energy and stuff you have as a 9 year old kid is unmatched by anything in the entire universe.

Caffeine is a drug, it releases chemicals in the brain. It's just not as potent in its affects as other drugs.

I once played Metroid Prime from the beginning, to the Omega Pirate one day, but I didn't keep track on how long I was playing.

spent about 45 hours straight playing Diablo 2 a few summers ago. didnt even realize i was on all that long till i was called by my aunt, looked away from the screen, and blacked out.

^Damn... I've had sessions like that though. I'm worse with that sorta stuff just surfing the net though. I'll go for hours, not noticing that I've just spent 4 hours reading Encyclopedia Dramatica articles.

If you had it in pure tablet form it is pretty potent
