Yeah there's plenty of those
This is the quality of them this is the menu intro, but there's a bunch of cutscenes littered around the game
</embed></object><br /><br />That portrait on the screen thing is pretty much a staple of koei games no idea why they do it but at times what is said is important for your objective so i guess they make sure you see it, if you didn't hear it, as people on screen talk a lot.<br /><br />Actually i was mistaken learn move improves combos<br /><br />Mastery improves hyper signatures.<br /><br />Starting to play with the other characters.<br /><br />Rei is really fun he's really fast and the combos and air juggles you can do with him look cool.<br /><br />Toki is a freaking power house and he should be they handicap him by having him cough after overly powerful moves but normally the damage and knock back you have done is sufficient apparently if you buy the DLC you can buy healthy toki although you can unlock a healthy toki in game but he can't be used in legendary mode from what i've heard.<br /><br /></div><div class="clear"></div></div><span class="gensmall"><br /><br />Last edited by Superbuu3 on Fri Nov 05, 2010 2:05 am; Apparently cancels can be changed but i don't think i'm anywhere near unlocking those. Theres a bunch of special effects i.e. air juggle boosts, increase attack in proportion to karma gain and a bunch of situationals you can only choose 3 but there'sa shitload of those. You got 8 signature moves you can only choose to equip 4, theres at least 3 hyper moves but i only got 2 on a couple of characters. He has the best signatures though.<br />Toki who is a freaking power house on his death bed.<br />Mamiya who has insane crowd control but is actually really weak and a long range fighter.<br />Rei who is a air juggler.<br /><br />Not played with Jagi or shin yet but jagi looks like a lot of fun as he has grenades, a shot gun and a bazooka.<br /><br />I gotta say though a base character seems so shit compared to a levelled one, i honestly never thought the upgrade system would have such a huge impact on the game. I mean if you upgrade badly or not suiting your play style it wil cost you. I mean i've been playing for a long time and i've just defeated souther with ken, i'm on Rei's final chapter, and i'm not very far with either toki or mamiya.<br /><br />It looks like unlocking characters is a lot more work then i realised as to get Raoh in legend mode you need to completre legend mode with the 4 above characters and to get him in dream mode you need to complete all 7 other characters dream modes. Dream mode is probably considerably shorter though as its classic dynasty warriors gameplay. My kenshiro is still a long way off from being maxed but he's already ridiculously strong i still think most of the other characters are actually more fun to play with. Jesus juggling FTW.<br /><br />I've become very adept at the basic combo system and have managed to master juggling to a degree, as well as linking moves (mainly with toki). You keep learning new ways to use moves which apparently at first appear useless. As you play your never told what levelled up action does so its always a nice suprise to see how your combo upgrades. Every character plays so differently you just want to keep switching between them (honestly never had this with any game with actual levels before).<br /><br />The multiplayer is so DW it just gives you a huge nostalgia rush while still containing all of this games mechanics and feeling unique. They adapted this well.<br /><br />Some of Jagi's moves are just freaking hilarious, plus its been forever since i seen a game where you can do back suplexes and power bombs. PLay around with the combo system quite a bit. Also don't let the speed bother you, Raoh and Kenshiro are slow but you can get an upgrade that speeds up there attacking speed i think thye can both summon a horse (not got that yet) because they do walk freaking slow, not sure if that can be changed.<br /><br />Basically don't worry about the difficulty being too easy the actual game is harder and the enemy are way more aggressive. What you want to focus on is if you like the moves and feeling of the combat, the other characters have such different movesets there's just a lot of fun to be had. Also if you can play split screen with someone the fun just doubles up. Not in demo though.<br /><br />Fans of Fist, Warriors or Beat em ups this is a must buy. If those aren't your type of games its more of a maybe. Environments can feel a bit bland at times adn Ken's story is like 14 levels about an hour long each (everyone elses one plays a lot faster) honestly i think it was his walking speed that annoyed me about midway.
