SSJ3 Goku vs SSJ3 Gotenks.

Gotenks is stronger right? Had an arguement with some one in real life recently (which is fucking rare for me). And he wouldn't let up Goku being weaker than anyone besides Gohan and Vegito. Why not Gotenks? I asked. His reasoning was because they're kids and half sayians. Then I'm like well half saiyans are stronger than regular saiyans. Then hes like no they're not.

I just want to know I'm right because I'm pretty sure I am. meh you guys will know.

Super Buu > Kid Buu

SPC > Dabura

FPSSJ > Broly

I can forgive the last one. Just because I don't wanna go into that.

No point in really discussing movie characters as they're inconsistent and don't fit in timelines so true power is hard to gauge.

The only reason why Gotenks reached ssj3 is because of their fusion. The power of two ssj's combining was enough to push them to that level. But that does not mean because there are two of them, they are stronger than just 1 ssj3. Mainly because they are kids. And because they aren't even ssj2 seperately.

Goku said when watching them turn SSJ as children that they have the potential to surpass him. This is evident with Gohan as well because he did just that.

They are also rivals, and that adds a fusion boost as well.

Also Goku said they were going to be stronger than him too... jesus.

Half Saiyains aren't necessarily stronger than full ones. For one, Goku's potential is stated to be unlimited. The fact that Vegeta was for the most part on the short end of the stick in power is just how AT wanted him. It's not as if being Half Saiyan gives some sort of real boost as far as we know.

Goten & Trunks were stronger than Android #18 at the ages of 6 and 7, respectively, and Gohan was a stronger Super Saiyan than Goku, at age 9 or 10 (or whatever).
