Oh God I love Tekken. Every time they do stupid shit like this they make it look awesome. No complaints.

I also love how they made sure to feature the black characters prominently in those trailers. Eddy and Raven are not the usual Tekken trailer stars.

I already know I'm going to hate Kuni.

Lee and Lili look so fabulous. On the other hand Asuka (still) looks like a man.
It also seems you can teach Combot any move you want making him incredibly cheap.

Ewww, i'm not getting this. It's trying too hard.

I love Tekken for its ridiculousness and for not taking itself too seriously.

Best backdash and forward dash in the game, i9 knee attack that wallsplats, a low launcher, that wall-carry, all those acrobatics... Yeah, I'm definitely gonna hate her.

Whoa, a 9-frame wallsplat? I thought even basic jabs were 10 frames in Tekken 6? Or have they sped the game up again (I think DR had 8 frame jabs)?

Her knee (ff4) is faster than jabs. And take a look at her wall-carry and damage from her safe d/f2:

That was only about 40% damage. Not ridiculous, as long as it's not super easy to do.

Looks pretty easy to me: df+2, uf+3,4, 1, f+4~f,1,2,4, f+4~4.
The damage isn't ridiculous, but it's pretty good (and he didn't use a Tag Assault).



This one is even more impressive; an invisible low launcher that gives full combo. Combined with her standard hopkick, it's one really nice mixup.

In all seriousness though, I'm truly considering maining her, even though I dislike her, if she's good combo synergy with Steve (some of his launchers leave the opponent back-turned, so I want a partner who can flip them or something for decent damage and style). Unfortunately, all of the characters I like are either hard to play or don't seem to compliment him that well (Jin, Devil Jin, Lee, Lili, Nina, Hwoarang).
So, I'll probably pick Lars, Kunimitsu or... Bob. Yeah, I've no honor.

At least Steve himself seems to be a great partner pretty much for everyone.

Lots of matches with Angel and Kunimitsu. Apparently Angel's d/f12 (twin pistons) is i13, mid, mid, both hits safe on block and a CH launcher. What's going on with the new characters?

Also it looks like Namco will be revealing more characters next month. Judging by the character select screen and the new extended trailer there are 5 more fighters to be revealed.

Forest is the son of Marshall Law. He has been training at his father's dojo since childhood, and some even say that his martial arts skills exceed those of his father's. Paul Phoenix has taken a liking to Forest, and they often get in trouble together.

A deinonychus trained for military purposes, Alex is a vicious animal that was created by extracting dinosaur DNA from an insect trapped in amber, with gaps in the DNA filled in with genetic data from Roger. Alex does not seem fully mature yet, but currently has about the same fighting strength as Roger. Alex will become an extremely powerful animal once he fully matures.

A prototype version of Jack developed in Russia. After learning of Jack's upgrades, P-Jack requested an upgrade from Dr. Bosconovitch, as well. Dr. Bosconovitch complied by adding a rotation function to P-Jack's limbs, as well as flight capabilities. P-Jack loves sunglasses, and they have become his trademark.

Tiger is a mysterious man who entered the "The King of Iron Fist Tournament" dressed in clothes inspired by the golden age of soul music. His polished capoeira moves look quite similar to those used by Eddy, but the nature of the relationship between these two fighters remains a mystery.

4 more stages too: Philippines, Holland, Spain and Paris.
