- Yeah, does sound pretty good. I really hope there's some post game content or something this time around. I enjoyed AA, but I played through the story once and collected all the Riddler things and then it felt like there was no reason to play it anymore. I like there to be some additional incentive to replay a game, even if it's just something completely arbitrary like a costume change.
And no, the various difficulty levels don't count. Unless of course there's some cool in-game reward for completing them. But usually I can't be bothered with different difficulty settings. Yeah unlockables are a great feature, Yakuza 3 had some decent ones you always unlock shit for completing specific sets of things up to 100% and completing on the higher difficulties. The bat armour was a nice change why you couldn't use it in story mode was baffling. I do think the challenges added a lot of life to the game, but some stupidly hard sidequests would be nice i.e. fighting killer croc bare handed and not using freaking walls would be a nice touch. So basically sounds great but unlockables would be nice as would even just being able to play through story as joker, or one of the other crime lords in a quest to take over the island. Improving boss battles is something i wished they focus on to.

That actually sounds awesome. Yeah that would be awesome, but considering the multiplayer this might be the theme for it. Although i personally think the way i said would implement it a lot better. I really hate having to rely on multiplayer to get more out of a game Not all games have a multiplayer that stays active.

| Interesting, especially the shot of Catwoman smacking Two Face about. Also noticed Harley Quinn again... how is she not locked up in Arkham? | |

| She is. Sort of. The premise of the game is that Arkham Asylum has been declared unfit for use or something, so part of Gotham's slums has been cordoned off to be used as an asylum instead. Hence Arkham City. Obviously it didn't work very well though. | |

| So it looks like Harley will be playing something of an actual role now compared to the last game where she just stood around looking pretty. | |

| So there's no multiplayer in this, its a shame would've been nice to have a couple of online coop missions or even just arenas. This is what happens when players complain to much. | |

| I'd rather have a great single player than a half-assed one with a MP that's abandoned within two months. | |

The single player would never be bad if they put in a few minigames like dead rising 2 or something. The main reason they wouldn't do it is because people would end up saying oh look they put in a half assed multiplayer or coop missions this game is terrible. Thats how things are these days which is really gay a game with less is praised more then one that adds in a few more extras. ITs why games are so streamlined now and they even question putting in additional modes.

| I honestly think co-op would be great, although it would have to be restricted to challenge maps. It would be awesome clearing entire rooms silently and/or working together to fuck with the enemies. | |

| Rocksteady left it out because they wanted to focus on creating the best single player experience they could. I just hope they add a new game+ or something this time around, because while AA was good, I only ever played through it once and never felt the desire to play it again.
I don't care about having the multiplayer though, so I'm not fussed. I haven't touched the MP in Brotherhood, and I doubt I ever will. I don't care about it.
