I already know the "twist" at the end is going to involve Marston getting screwed over by the people he's working for. The game has hinted at it so much it might as well be written with large neon letters. I'd also guess there's an ambiguous ending where you're not sure if Marston dies or not, a la Shane (a classic old western).
Mind you, I can't be arsed to play that far to find out. Everytime I pick the game up, I can spend a little while cocking about and then I'll start a mission only to get bored halfway through.

I don't think anyone ever said it was a challenging game.
Challenge isn't one of my issues with the game. My biggest issue is that the main narrative is so poorly paced, and the story it tells most uncompelling.

Games you don't need to focus on to actually play, lose a lot in terms of gameplay.

I dunno, I really enjoyed the game despite it being a breeze. It was ridiculously atmospheric, dead eye made the combat fun and there were a handful of truly epic moments in the game (the first ride into Mexico comes to mind) that really made the game for me.

Compass playing when the last chapter of the story began was great.

The last ride in UN was awesome although when you finally arrive at your final destination it was pretty disappointing. I was expecting demons and psychic aztec zombies coming out from the ground to come drag your soul to hell...
Spoiler:
instead you catch a zombie Reyes running around chasing a maid.
The song that played during the final Ride:

To be fair that sounds about standard for RDR.

My horse or i died so i mised this legendary moment people go on about.
Bullet time has been done to death and better in other games. Hell even alpha protocol made me feel more like a badass taking out that psycho russian who snorts coke or something.

And for me, I repeat, I missed out on both of those glorious moments. The Mexico song was ruined because I rode my horse instead of Irish's and the Compass one was ruined because a bear ninja'd me while I was just beginning to ride home.

I don't think I've ever seen a game do something like dead eye (rank 2+), there's a difference between bullet time and being able to place your shots like that.

VATS is really not the same as dead eye.

You have unlimited time in VATS. Dead Eye still makes you hurry if you want to benefit the most from it. I really like that aspect but I think VATS works well for the type of game Fallout is.

I can't be assed to think about games with bullet time will take too long.
Still i don't think i even used dead eye in RDR more then like 5 or 6 times except if there was a crowd orf bears or something.

Came back to this for fun(and maybe to platinum it).
Funny enough, I got Posse Up! without trying just after I jumped on. Just went into one Free Roam session and nabbed a bunch of posse members right away. Then we headed out and kicked ass in the hideouts.
