STILL no videos of Pirates of the Caribbean: Armada of the Damned?

What is so secretive about this game? Has any more information even been revealed? Hell, how many of you actually know of this game? It was announced a long, long time ago. Either this is in development hell or they're probably saving it for PotC4's hype because this is insane.

He's saying that for once it's a good game despite being based on a film franchise. Probably because this game actually has a lengthy development instead of being a movie-tie in at the last minute since it has no film to actually tie in with.

Well it's an open-world game with you sailing around the PotC islands with Bioware RPG-esque gameplay(although the combat sounds a bit more real-time which is cool).

although that does sound cool
the main thing is, will the sea feel worth exploring
only a few games seem to pull off that kind of thing well

Wait for E3 to see that then.

Looking at some of the new concept art pics shown really makes me miss playing At World's End's ps2 game. The ps3 one sucked so much whereas the ps2, while was repetitive in some levels, had a much more overall fun experience(especially in all the town levels, they were huge and awesome, the sword duels are much better and in real-time too).

Probably the only things the ps3 one had better were that the graphics were obviously superior and the Kraken boss fight was more interesting.

Arkham Asylum isn't a movie game(and neither is this other than being based on the universe of PotC).

That's my point. AA is a recent licenced game that absolutely kicks ass despite being based on comics/movies. People seem to be forgetting about it though when they say that PotC is the 'best they've seen in a while' unless their definition of a while is like 6 months.

That's because he's referring to movie games. AA's based on nothing but their own take on Batman and had no short deadline to tie in with a film. When he thought "PotC", for some reason he brought up the unrelated topic of movie games usually being shit even though this isn't even a movie tie-in game, just like AA.

Forgetting about AA isn't the problem, it's the fact he stupid for even bringing up the subject. It's IGN after all.

AA2 should be out soon enough
