| for the 360. you kill god--just like every other JRPG in existence.
though there are actually REPRUCCUSIONS (sp?) for killing god this time. every aristo on the entire planet slips into a permanent coma because the source of the power (aforementioned god) that permeates their bodies doesnt exist anymore. so three of your party memebers and EVERY ROYAL FAMILY in the world goes into a coma.
good job, retard! though, if you dont kill god he'll crash the moon into the planet and kill everything to remake his own world anyway. so yeah.
turns out that the ethereal queen (a recurring character/super optional boss in every Tri-Ace game) made the earth and all it's inhabitants and then went on vacation or something and forced veros (god) to take care of an existence that he cares nothing about. hilarity ensues.

| Why would there be repercussions if you killed God, Tobi?
He just creates things and then lets them run their course, he doesn't sit on high and then make lightning strike when he feels like it.

| in this game there are repercussions because he's been directly giving his energy to humans to 'help' better them. unfortunately his energy has.. side effects on everyone who isnt either an unblessed (born on a new moon or during an eclipse, so they are incapable of recieving a lunaglyph--his power) or an aristo (humans that have undergone special rites that permeate them with lunar energy and transfor them into something beyond human).
namely either killing them or turning them into an invisible killing machine monster-thing.
in most JRPGs (this included) god is trying to destroy the world for some reason or other and the party of--usually--mere mortals manage to kill him by themselves (usually with a speech about not needing him and making their future with their own hands), thus saving the world.
this game has that AND a downer ending for a third of the cast, because either:
A. their parents are aristos (capell (kinda), aya, and edward (i think)) B. they're in love with/ idolize an aristo (komachi to touma and kristopher to seraphina (the former), kiriya to savio (the latter)) C. or they are an aristo (touma, savio, and seraphina) D. used to be an aristo, but went back in time and became an unblessed only to die protecting their son who is now older than them (sigmund)
the other characters (the total cast is like 18 people--and you can use up to twelve at once during the game--and it is glorious)

| Tri ace games make it to where you fight a god or godly like figure. Star ocean 3 till the end of time: Luther- creator of the your universe. Star ocean 4 last hope: the green hair guy- unlocks the secret to creat or destroy anything.
And in both of them there ethereal queen, but in star ocean 3, she is afraid of a little girl name freya who can destroy galaxies when ever she pleases and she gives you the key to unleash her. Also during the fight she says she'll hold back.

| finally beat gabriel celeste--bastard had one million hp, 1.8 million mp, and made me game over twice, then i sorta accidentally pulled him into a hallway, cancelled all his magic (srsly, you get a flute song near the beggining of the game that can--and does--nullify EVERY SPELL CAST BY EVERYTHING EVER) and owned his face off.
did i mention he looks like a certain plot-relevant 8-10 year old boy?
