Princess and the Frog thoughts.

It was great. It reminded me of how glorious Disney's animated movies used to be and that Disney used to be more than just Pop Stars and Pixar.

The characters were very good, well-handled and developed, voice-acting was fantastic (Although what else would you expect from fucking Keith David and Jim Cummings?), animation was beautiful, it was pretty damn funny, the songs were great too, and really one of the only problems about the movie is how the beginning drags a bit until after Dr. Facilier shows up, that's when things start getting good.

I went to see the movie with my mom, sister, and aunt and when we walked out of the theater my mom saw me smiling and made this little remark.

"You're always gonna be that little three year old kid inside, huh?"

Watched it today. It had a lot of charm, and I quite liked it.
Had to watch it dubbed, though. What kinda accent do they have in the original? The dubbed versions accents made no sense at all. Also, is Tiana supposed to have a horrible smoker's voice? She could barely raise her voice without it disappearing.
