ok, i seem to have run into ANOTHER speed bump; i torrented a recent version of registered fraps--apparently i was a little late to the party because the registry had run out or some shit so it gave me the freeware version--THAT CONTAINS A PROGRAM THAT (oh-so-slightly, it's not a virus) ALTERS YOUR REGISTRY SO YOU CAN NEVER PIRATE FRAPS AGAIN.

so now i need another recording program.

also, the emulator i use does have a record as avi function, but it records both screens at once, making the video stretched and choppy--the devs a the emu site explained that if you want to only record the top screen you either

-need video editting software
-access and alter the emu's source code so that aviout.acc is set to 193 (or something like that)
-or use something like hypercam/gamecam/fraps (which i cant find legit full torrents of any of them anywhere--and due to the problem earlier using fraps is impossible >_>)

You'd have to record both screens anyway. But:

1. Hypercam 2 might work.
2. NDS2xGL is a utility for no$gba that lets you resize DS screens and fullscreen just one or both.

im using the desmume emu--it runs faster and crashes much less.

EDIT: i found one called 'camtasia' --imma try this out and see if it works.

look for pokemon from S/G/C if you want to join fairly quickly, anything else might take a bit to make available.

also: got the audio/video distortion fixed, im posting a test vid as soon as it finished compiling.

here's my test video--it was either this or great quality, just the top screen, ON MUTE.
...though, with my current setup i could just use the bottom screen for my snarky comments...
