theres some dude i always have to fight and most of his attacks seem irreversible

dunno why i keep fighting him, he's way harder then anything in 1

either way, aside from hitsatsu and rensatsu, the fighting in 3 is more similar to 1 than 2

parries take skill in this one unlike 2

oh yeah general combat is easier

but this boss guy is a bitch

i think he's head of the bad gang

be aggressive, if you just try to parry his moves, he'll just do a guard crush and critical hit you

actually 3 is the easiest since you can take advantage of merchants by killin them for your money back.

and dual weeilding swords is pretty broken in this too

Parry isn't that hard for me. Then again, I mash on the button until I see another button pop to initiate insta-kill mode.

parries are even easier in 2

if i get my ps2 emulator working on prpl's *far superior* computer, i'll probably get number two, along with 'blood will tell' and one of the onimusha's (blade battlers and maybe 3)

there is a glitch that causes record too freeze not sure if it is in the EU version but it occurs when your most used weapon is a custom weapon

This sucks in comparison to 1

Its stupidly hard to get any happy endings, I've saved the town a few times but i end up sacrificing myself and i've yet to see a point in taking over the ouka clan. Also is there even a point in doing missions i sem to get worse endings when i do them.

Now i'm just itching to get Kenzan which will undoubtedly blow this out of the water.

missions are only for money making, they have no effect on your ending

Any tips in what i should be doing?

I seem to keep getting the ending where either i step out or osei steps out is there any branching i can do to change the ending?

Either i die or she dies.

Also I felt bad when i killed Oryo, is there another way to end that mission?

if you want a good ending activate as many events as you can with shinnosuke and always defend /support him. also activate the events at the shrine that appear during the day, and kota when he shows you the dagger.

when the raid on ouka takes place defeat yuma with blunt attacks. if you did it right shinnosuke should appear before the fight with yuma to ask for your help and again at the hill below ose's house, then offer to sacrifice yourself for her.

those endings are the basic ones, oryo wants to die anyway when you build her trust to max. did you grab her sword? its the only way to get that sword

i dunno bout swords, i use my own custom swords. and all partners have cons and pros. most will often make money for you and increase your stored money by 3% or find swords. the bad side some will break your swords and spend your money

I'm more interested in matching all techniques and unlocking all sword techniques before i create swords.

Should be able to move up to normal difficulty with ease soon.

matching all techniques makes the game boring to me

if you match all skills you'll become invincible

Matching doesn't work while you press a button, if i'm not attacking i'm normally blocking.

Pretty much matching means you don't need to hold down block.
