samurai warriors 4 is completely new to me, warriors orochi 3 ultimate is an enhanced version of something i already have. i'm getting samurai warriors 4 first

I completely agree, also the storyline was annoying me, and all the dialogue in the game. DW normally has great cutscenes in either a cool or hilariously bad way. I'm hoping SW is the same. Although I dunno if I want the SW games I never liked the move sets of those guys compared to the ones in DW.

also, i see why there are people that dislike the new triangle(hyper) strings. they seem to have ridiculous crowd control and the only drawback is if an officer blocks it you get stunned very briefly

This is great! Samurai Warriors 3 Chronicles for the PSVita/3DS is coming over in june as well as Samurai Warriors 4-2 in october.

Damn i still gotta play this too lol. Maybe after im done some of my backlog .

Yeah i'm more interested in samurai chronicles, any clue what the difference is between that and the mainline series?

Its kinda like a mini version of empires. you play as your own Edit character, taking the helm as an officer in an army.
The game uses SW4 as the base so the various battlefields are from that. Music too.
I dont know much else beyond that though lol.

I must say... Im really ashamed starting this fairly recently, To make the topic then dont play it till much later... But honestly Its gonna to get used to the JP voices.... Man i hate Nobunagas JP VA

I started on the Legend of the Oda on stage 4.

I always preferred the english VAs in the warriors games.

SW2 EN VA's was pretty good and from what i have heard so is 3 on the wii. But now koei really want to cheap out as much as they can, presumably i thought they were turning over a profit as of late. I mean if Niche companys can do it im sure koei can too.

Besides "behold my brilliance" from a generic officer doesnt sound as good in JP....Makes me question if he thinks hes a Gem or somthin lol.

i got 4-2 since it wasn't that expensive. when i'm near death and unleash my musou attack, this is the vision i see that ignites my will to survive
