| do merc missions and help the person in need. as long as they aren't in a force you have the potential to befriend them in events. | |

| you can't. you have to win as an officer or ruler. | |

| you get special abilities for completing specific sets (same bonuses as the some of the cards you use in ruler mode) and you unlock edit character outfits randomly | |

you level up much slower in vagrant mode though | |

| i personally like officer the best but it has a tends to drag out forever if you have a douche for a lord whom never listens to your opinions | |
