You'd be correct. Shinokuni-enhanced or not, physical strength was never Caesar's thing, so how he's meant to stand against a fully-serious Luffy using haki and gear third, I'm not sure.

Actually, the manga has one chapter finish with Luffy poised to strike, then starts the next one with him striking Caesar, knocking him down that tunnel before showing the white coating of Shinokuni flaking off Luffy's haki-armoured arms. (ie therefore showing that haki can guard against the effect), so the pacing is a little different.

In the next episode Luffy will use Grizzly Magnum again, but this time Caesar will tank it.

Well I just watched the last few episodes. Franky is a champion despite not really doing anything at all other than showing off.

The anime really drags out Franky showing off. Every time he's hit they make him stay down for the rest of the episode.

And the award for most misleading title ever goes to: "Intense! Aokiji vs. Doflamingo!"

This arc is looking really good so far. The new Admiral is a boss, I like that Bellamy is back, and Luffy totally gave some guy a right Goku-ing.

Another villain beaten, another instance of said villain pushing back the ultimate attack for padding purposes. Anime is now three for three with this nonsense post-timeskip.

Are they still on Namek?
