Attack on Titan

For a bunch of Otakus, I am shocked that no one even talk about this show. Shame on you people..........

But I guess most people aren't too fond of giant naked people with no genitals eating the last of humanity.

Oh well.

Thoughts?

Watched the anime First. got hooked on episode 1. Watched the whole thing in 1 sitting. Then proceeded to read the manga.

Have had it sitting on my hard drive for months waiting for me to watch it, as I've heard it's good. I'll get to it eventually.

Probably the first shonen manga in a long time that I've even like "WHOA" at in terms of it getting me in. I almost own all of the manga volumes released in America I just need 12.

Yeah, I watched it over the last couple days and it is really good. I'm sad there's only one season, but I don't think it's worth it to start reading the manga since that's not much further ahead either. My best bet now is to just forget about it for a couple years and come back to it.

This is pretty good, very brutal though. I was actually drawn into it in the first episode. I haven't finished it yet though.

The dub is actually quite good.

The series? It gets worse in terms of like graphic content.

I'm surprised that they decided on a relatively lesser known set of voice actors for some of the mains. Trina (Mikasa) is the one I've heard the most of them. The dub is pretty good though from the first episode.

Bryce Pappenbrook, Trina Nishimura, and Josh Grelle are actually relatively common voice actors right now, especially Pappenbrook who is the new voice of main characters.

The second season looks like it will lack action.

Yup, I caved and read the manga, and it is stupidly obvious in hindsight. The author may not be the best artist but he is very, very good at plotting things out and making the characters act logically.

The armored titan is matched by hair. colossal is whoever looks like it with no skin and has a long face.

You don't even need to use looks to determine it. Actions and dialogue alone do a pretty good job.

The one that looks like Brock Lesnar is obviously the Armored Titan.

Is there any reason to try reading this again now that I've started JJBA or have I already reached the pinnacle of Japanese entertainment media?

JJBA is pretty much the pinnacle, but give it a shot, it's good.

Watch it. The anime is good. Doesn't hold anything back either.
