oh wow the pesticide for trooper its impossible to kill anything without basically dying. Hell if i try and shoot far away it doesn't kill anything.

The Tactical pesticide weapon is a lock on missile. Pretty cool. Reload is hella slow though. Jet pesticide reloads really fast (although it uses up your fuel meter).

You guys got back into this since the patch?

We played it a bit a couple days ago. First time since we all played ages ago. We both just happened to be quite close to reaching rank 8.

Patch made much difference?

It's been too long since I played this on normal difficulty. Even with a rank 4 trooper I'm totally overpowered. I can just run into the middle of enemy clusters with guns blazing and not worry.

Oh my god. I never that little L prompt before. It pops up when something important happens and if you click the left stick the camera zooms in on the event. I also noticed, since playing with headphones, that there's a distinctive... squishy little noise that happens when you miss the active reload.

After i max all my armours i'd only play on hard TBH.

Also how you got 2 armours to level 8 and not noticed the L thing is slow as hell.

Yeah, the L stick prompt has been there since day one.

I've decided to go for the platinum. I'll max out the Trooper first, then do survival, then max out the Battle.

I'll do survival with you. I'm not into grinding the classes though i'll just play with neo which will take us about 3 years but it'll happen.

My trooper is rank 6 now, shouldn't take too long to max him out. The trophies for maxing out the classes abd doing survival mode are pretty much the only ones I have left to get.

I actually played this today for the first time after all the time I've had it.

Playing alone is boring because "Kicker" and "Oldman" are retarded retards.

Ha, my squad is Kid and Cyrus. They're really cool.

Kicker is by far the worst AI player and the best bit is your stuck with him for life.

The sound mix for this game is weird. It's like certain sounds have priority and others are muted during hectic moments. It's nice to actually hear it all though. I've used the headphones with this game before I had always had the volume low so I could hear the voice chat.

The DLC missile launcher for the trooper is mental.

Doing the missions solo on hard with rank 7 weapons is the most you can have with the single player. Even the shit weapons are useable and the good weapons are overkill. The Trooper's rank 7 Uberchoke shotgun has a really tight spread and kills grunt types (anything up to metal spiders) in one hit, and the rank 7 grenade launchers are completely broken. I can easily control 3 anthills at once on my own with that DLC rocket launcher too.

So the Battle class is completely fucking broken. At rank 3 I already have an assualt rifle that kills ants in one shot. I think making it so the Battle class couldn't use vehicles would have been a decent balance, but as it is there's no reason to play as the other classes unless running a bit faster is really important to you.

You're seriously grinding the crap out of this you do realise when you max everything we're not playing with you unless you limit your guns right. Otherwise we won't get kills.

Also wait for me on survival.
