| I like the hidden blade the most. I've always used it a lot for combat, even back in AC1 where you couldn't block with it. Makes me feel like a proper assassin. I do like the short blade better than the long blade though.
But I just took out that first group Romulus guys with the hidden blade in one long streak without losing any health. I also got the Altair outfit from Uplay as soon as I could.

| They are on you game. When you link up to the system it will register them. Just make sure you make an account with them. I like the free theme and stuff AC2 had. | |

| It's some crappy scheme were you get points for playing Ubisoft games that you can then redeem for unlockables within Ubisoft games. In AC2 you got 10 points for joining Uplay, and you could earn 100 points throughout the game. All the items for AC2 totaled 100 points as well, so you could get everything.
But in AC:B, while you can only earn 100 points, all the stuff costs 140 points. So obviously you need to buy more Ubisoft games!
I think you can earn the points offline, I'm not sure. The actions have always been tied to achievements as far as I know, so Uplay might just check to see if you have those achievements/trophies, and then award the points based on that.

| Not sure how I feel about these bonus objectives for each mission to obtain 100% sync either. I'll have to wait and see if they become annoying or not. | |

No way that's some of the cheapest shit I've ever heard. That totally changes my opinion of Uplay.

| The 40 point thing is just an ammo upgrade for the gun. I won't be getting that. | |

| You should get out of the animus every once in a while (after every sequence basically) to talk with your team and read some e-mails. Also to be enlightened by Shaun's great wisdom and wit. | |

| He's not quite as annoying as he was last time. I'd like to see him actually do something though. | |

| I still need to buy this along with ACII because I didn't think the games would get that much better after the first, it turns out I'm wrong. | |

The leap from 1 to 2 is stupidly huge. You'll definitely enjoy it. If you even liked the first a little. Ezio is like marmite.

| Common consensus is that the first game is just okay. | |

Yeah the cool bits barely made up for the boring bits.

| My God, there's even more buying and selling and building and management bollocks than there was last time! Why is all this crap even in the game? | |

| To take control of the area from the Borgia in a way that it still supports itself.
Also I think the fullsync stuff adds to the game a bit. Having said that, the mission I'm on right now is driving me insane. It's that one where you have to stealth in and out of a tower without being detected, and on the way out it's also an escort mission. D:

I don't need to be involved in that. Just have it happen without having manage it myself. It's boring shit.

| What do you mean don't? It's a big part of the game now for some reason. You can't just not do any of it. | |
