i nearly gave up on looking for a logitech brand and decided to buy an official one at gamestop, turns out they had a logitech brand in stock there, unfourtunately it doesn't look like it has self mute......so you'll hear everything from me

The one I had before had mute, it was a button on the cord itself. The one I have now doesn't, but it's easily remedied by moving the microphone up next to my ear temporarily.

I have two Logitech headsets, both wired. I had the one that Buu mentioned in the very beginning in the topic and then my college sent me a better one which was included in my tuition.

I've had my newer headset for about a month and it works great. My older headset is a cheaper one, but it has lasted me give or take a little over a year and still works. The audio is very clear on both. I go to a University online, and so the headset they sent me had to have met certain requirements for audio assignments.

Radioshack might have something good if you have one near you. I would venture Target, Kmart, Wal-Mart or Toys R Us would have them as well.

i got a rocket fish now. weird name, but anyway, it's a bit uncomfortable for extended play but it was 10 dollars and the sound quality is better than the blue tooth i'm borrowing.
