The Adventures of Skip. Pt. 1 - Johto

Skip vs Red

I send out Buu (Nidoking), at level 71, he sends out a level 88 Pikachu. I thought ohh shit I'm so underlevelled.

But Buu managed to take him down in one shot, so far so good I guess.

His next pokemon was a level 80 Lapras which I countered with Hemlock (Magneton), at level 70.

I outspeed him and get off a thunderwave, he nearly kills me with Brine.

I heal Hemlock up in the hope that Lapras is too paralyzed. He wasn't.

I switch to Poliwrath to heal Hemlock up again. Lapras was paralyzed.

Poliwrath does a Brick Break which does exactly half health. Barely survived a Psychic from Lapras.

Another Brick Break and Lapras goes down.

He switches to his level 84 Venusaur and I want to end it quickly so i went with Rapidash, who is at level 70.

I one shot it with Flare Blitz.

He sends out a level 84 Blastoise so I send out Hemlock again.

I lead with Thunderbolt this time, which nearly kill it. It misses with Focus Blast thank god.

Not taking any chances I switch to Mr. Mime at level 71, and he heals up.

He hits first with Blizzard but Mime shrugs it off like a champion, and takes half of Blastoise's health with Energy Ball.

Mime tanks another Blizzard, and KOs Blastoise with another Energy Ball.

He sends out a level 82 Snorlax so I counter it with Kuriri (my Snorlax)

He uses Blizzard with Kuriri tanks easily, and uses Substitute.

Snorlax broke my sub with Crunch, and Kuriri hit him hard with a focus Punch, it doesn't quite kill him.

He healed up and Kuriri chipped a bit of health off with Crunch.

He uses Crunch and Kuriri use Substitute and barely survive. The Hail finishes off Kuriri.

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU

I send in Hemlock to hopefully tank its attacks while I heal up.

I heal Poliwrath, Snorlax uses Blizzard which does barely anything.

I decided to paralyze Snorlax to be a bitch, it uses Giga Impact and nearly takes down Hemlock completely.

I heal him up while Snorlax recharges.

Next I heal up Mr. Mime. Snorlac uses Blizzard again.

I switch Rapidash in, who cops a Shadowball on the chin, but survives.

I use my last Full restore on him to heal up. Snorlax uses Shadow Ball again.

Rapidash uses Bounce to attempt to finish Snorlax off (I was using the residual hail affect), but Red decided to be a bitch and healed up.

I switch Poliwrath in who shrugs off the crunch from Snorlax.

Poliwrath uses Brick Break and nearly KOs Snorlax who uses Shadowball.

Poliwrath finishes the job with another Brick Break. Finall that motherfucker went down. Rapidash levelled up too. So did Hemlock.

He switches in Charizard at level 84, who takes down Poliwrath like it was nothing with air slash.

I send in Mr. Mime hoping he can do something.

Charizard uses Flare Blitc which one shots Mr. Mime.

I send out Rapidash next and use Megahorn, which does barely anything. Charizard pwns it with another air slash.

Now I send out Buu. Who promptly gets KOd by Flare Blitz.

Hemlock, my last pokemon, oh so weak to fire.

Charizard takes it down with Flare Blitz.

Game over guys. Game over...

Haha, he certainly did. he took down a pokemon 18 levels his senior.

And thanks, I think I'll do a follow up run of Diamond or something later on.

I had played Gold but I forgot what the levels were. I thought they were mid 70s.
