So Uncharted is pretty good.

I enjoyed U2 a lot better than the first one. Really improved on the gunfire and platforming. The story was near equal to me. U3 should be pretty awesome.

I get suprised when i hear that, aside from the set pieces and the slightly bland shaped arena you fight in its really not that big an improvement.

I'd say the story is wealer and the characters in the sequel and most importantnly no eddy

I've never played the first one so I can't really comment.

There were quite a few platforming bugs in the first one and U2 fixed those and made for smoother platforming and better aim in gunfire.

The biggest problem with Uncharted was that nearly all the gun fights went like this:

1. Enter big room/courtyard
2. Spend 10 minutes shooting everyone
3. Move on to next area

Uncharted 2 did a much better job of breaking up the action and keeping you on the move.

Its not better aim in gunfire its that in uncharted 2 you can snipe with every gun, something you can't do as easily in 1. There's a zoom function on every gun in U2.

Not encountered any platforming bugs whatsoever.

i'm close to rage quitting this one guy with a wes 44 keeps OHKing me after the huge wave of soldiers in trapped.

What kills it is i can't OHK himn whenever i use the WES on him.

Did that, got past all that. Now i'm on chapter 13, looking for sully, i'm going at a slow yet steady pace. i'm wondering where the next bit that i got stuck on will be.

Really? I found myself encountering a lot of platforming glitches and problems through the 3 playthroughs I did with U1. U2 seemed to go a lot smoother for me.

Well i'm on my second playthrough and i'm up to chapter 13 so past the halfway point and no glitches in platforming there's been one or two stupid glitches but they haven't effected gameplay i.e. one where nathan didn't run for a second but still moved around so he kind of glided.

That big courtyard before you go into the library and find Sully is hardest part of the game. I think I used the super slow motion option on that bit to make it easier.

Thats disabled annoyingly and thats the bit i stopped playing on i keep clearing it but there's one guy with a shotgun as i enter the building and i never see where he is till i turn the corner he's killed me three times. Its really annoying i should be more careful.

It's disabled? Must have done it legit then. But it's still the hardest part. Coming back through it is hard too. The bunker is fairly easy if you just run and blindfire behind you.

Playing the first Uncharted since my friend let me borrow it.

So far the game is fun but the shooting mechanics and platforming are not as good as the second one, which makes sense really.

EDIT: Also, not really a big fan of melee combos in this game.

The second was more polished overall. As you'd expect.

Melee combos are awesome to, its pretty fun running round punching the crap out of people.

Oh god, grenades are their own weapons and when you aim them from cover you're wide open? And not only that but you control them with the sixaxis?

It's a good thing this was during the "Every game must have sixaxis" crap that Sony was going through or I'd be more critical of it.

If your pro you'd blind fire your grenades thats what i did.

You don't have to use sixaxis.
