So Uncharted is pretty good.

Up to part 6 at the moment. Good game. All the gunfights are getting a bit boring though.

Just did the chase on the jeep. That was alright.

I'll say this. Following some secret clues from Drake's journal, THAT ONLY I HAVE, just to find the bad guys already there SOMEHOW, is getting fucking old.

Well, the end was good, and made up for that bad patch just prior to it.

EDIT: And now I can't play it anymore. It freezes a few minutes after I start up my second playthrough. Firmware 3.0 has killed the game. Just about everyone is having this problem.

Well the problem was patched not long ago. I'm now playing through on Crushing mode to get all 1000 medal points, which is bloody annoying.

I'm having trouble at hard difficulty, but then again, I don't own the game.

Hard is basically normal, but you get a bit less health. On crushing, 3 or 4 shots puts you in that whited out "almost dead" mode, the enemies are tougher (usually it takes 3 body shots with a pistol to kill a normal goon, it's 4 on crushing), and many more of them rush at you, fast. And you can't use any of the rewards that might make the game easier, like the weapon select or slow motion, which hard mode let you have (if you'd unlocked them).

Kay I got it a while back and now I'm up to the zombies/monsters/whatever the fuck they are.

Hey Moose, is it just me or did you also notice how ridiculously dark everything was in that area? I had to adjust my brightness to the max to get through it. Anyway the build up to those things was awesome with all the screaming in the background while you're doing all those gunfights.

Yeeah, it did get darker, I guess to add to the mood. Although I fucking hated that part, didn't fit in with the story at all imo.

The monsters were all right. It was just the bunker that was bad. Complete opposite of what Uncharted should be.

Not sure how to judge them yet since I only checked out how they are when you meet them then stopped for a bit. I just hate shitty lack of lighting in the previous part before that. It's an excellent chapter none the less but damn.

Yeah, it gets repetitive pretty fast. Uncharted 2 did it a lot better. There's a more even balance of platforming and shooting, and the shootouts are less focused on walking into an open area, ducking behind the first wall, and shooting 20 guys (although there's still some of that).

i beat uncharted 2, it was quite good. i watched prpl play 1 and i was kinda bored by it.

The bunker was ridiculous. It was so dark I could barely progress, the monsters aren't what totures me, that terrible lighting is what bothers me. GOD! I'm leaving the brightness to max, man.

I finished the game a few hours back, decent final fight. Although a bit easy considering all you really have against you that's hard to get rid of are the grunts, Navarro's shots are easy to avoid considering you basically just wait, listen till 4 shots are made and then fire at his stooges afterwards.

Looking forward to playing the second one.
