Yeah, let's make an already depressing story even more depressing by adding more bullshit.

Rorschach is NOT depressing, The only thing depressing about him is....well....near the end of the movie.

Dude, the entire premise of the story is the good guys being treated like shit, the verge of nuclear war, and the bad guy winning.

It's depressing. Rorschach and the Comedian being two of the only things int his movie/comic who decided to man the fuck up and do something other than mope and even they have their moments.

That 27 minutes will be about The Tales of the Black Freighter, some random people in New York that no one cares about and hopefully, Manhattan and Veidt having a heart to heart before Manhattan fucks off into space.

Don't forget Hollis being brutally murdered for no reason.

Basically he summons a giant squid in the middle of New York City and a lot of people die.

This apparently unites America and Russia for some reason and Nuclear War is averted. Rorschach goes to tell everyone the truth and Manhattan blows him up so he can't tell the truth.

Although Rorschach did leave a journal at a local newspaper explaining everything that happened. But, the likelihood of the story being taken seriously is... well none.

In the movie he just blows the shit out of several cities around the world.

Comedian didn't decide to do shit. His attitude was "The world is shit, so I might as well treat it like shit and enjoy it too". And Rorschach knew he was in the wrong by the end too.

Well, yeah the Comedian has the disadvantage of only doing shit in flashbacks because he's dead. And I said that they had their moments.

The last time I saw him was on GF's television board after the Lost finale. That was at the end of May.

Nah, that was related to Lost when everyone was hating. That was quite a while before he permanently left.

I remember you saying whenever it was around that time that he left due to 'bad taste'. The Sora lost thing was about the only thing i could think of. Aside from that he didn't seem to like or dislike the board any more then normal.

Unless it was that whole thing about how we didn't even know him, but that would really suprise me if he left over that. From memory he did say that kind of thing 2-3 times to me and he said it to others as well.

He left because his genius was sometimes misunderstood.

...or something, I dunno. I only ever remember the Mew bashes, Chaoz, & his pokemon playthoughs.

This film is extremely gratuitous in its violence not sure if all i saw was in the cinema cut or not still its a bit too much, kinda loses its focus.
