| Looks great, a real step up over the already pretty good first. | |

| I'm interested to know what the missions are. It seems the sit-on-a-bench-and-listen ones are still there. The first AC survived the incredibly repetitive missions (there only 3 types of mission if I remember right) because of fun gameplay. AC2 could do the same, but I hope not. | |

| AC got away with it for a while, but the nature of the gameplay meant that it did get repetitive after the third of fourth assassination. I still like it a lot though, because it has a lot of character and simply arsing around in the game world is huge fun. | |

| I also wonder how the story is going to go. The future segments need some progression this time, especially with how AC1 ended. If it's just Desmond stuck in a room again it'll be annoying. | |

| I'm in the mood to play AC1 now. I need reminding of what actually happened at least. | |

| - Spoiler:
IIRC, your mentor was a member of the Templars and was using you to kill his fellows, giving him control of the organisation. Altair kills him, but when Desmond wakes up, he learns that the Templars have been the ones keeping him, and that all the other assassins were apparently dead, except that the assistant also displays the missing finger that was the trademark of the Assassin. You see lots of freaky shit on the walls using Desmond's newly acquired Eagle vision, then the game ends.

| They were after artifacts of something weren't they? To rule to world or something? You could access a bunch of emails in the future parts. Something about experiments, and I think an ark... | |

More or less... A guy in the future who apparently used to be an assassin is captured by the "modern" templars to revive the memories of his medieval ancestor to get information on an ancient artefact that the templars want. The guy then starts seeing freaky shit written all over the walls and goes back to the memory retrieval machine thingy to dig through the memories of another assassin ancestor... this time in the Renaissance. | |
