| I must say it's a breath of fresh air to get away from manga for a while. One of the few things manga always seem to lack is life and emotion in its dialogue, it lacks realism and tones of their characters(besides the generic sound nice if you're good dialogue, sound like a douche if you're bad dialogue). So yeah, it's fun to read a comic with charm and actual wit and proper comedy for a change. =3 | |

| Barely read any comics. My experience of the Marvel Universe extends to Planet Hulk and World War Hulk, and that's it. Although Spider-Man was in there a little bit, not doing anything important. | |

| For Ultimate Spidey, I've read the first, second and third volumes a few years back before I went and got the ps2 game of the series during its release. Then I read the 6th one with Venom and shit and later on, the Carnage one. Now I'm just reading the one with Spidey dating Kitty and Sable trying to track him down before she knew who he was like in the game and such. | |

| I borrowed volume 4 after reserving it once from my local library, sadly I got a crappy copy from the handful of stashes of that volume (where I could've received a better copy if they cared) where 1/3 of the fucking pages were torn out. >_> | |

| Now it's time for me to read VOlume 6.
Venom. I never have seen Venom in the Ultimate Spider-Man comics so this will be a treat.

| He's pretty cool from what I recall in the volume, but basically because of his fight, there really isn't much Venom as himself in character until the end. The ps2 game is actually Venom's true major arc (hell, he even gets the white symbol at the end =3). | |

| The game totally expands on that at the end. - Spoiler:
Eddie Brock Sr., the big idiot tried the suit on while on the damn plane and caused the damn crash. I assume he must've died later on or something or maybe his father is actually alive and that's why Peter was saying he should show them to Eddie(although he escaped after the battle, damn and he get pwned by Spidey's badass uppercut too...)

| I'm curious to see the comic version of it though(or at least based on the game's parts) or whatever the hell this certain new part from like last year or this year did. | |

| I'm pretty sure one of the guys down at Marvel in charge of both the game and the comic said they're going to adapt some of the stuff from the game into an actual comic arc.
When that is though, I'm stumped.

| I assumed it was already done just a short while back. or was the parts that were just going on during early this year or end of last year. If it actually hasn't been done, then...shit. =/ | |

| A little bit behind schedule, I've just picked up the first few volumes, up to and including #13 and it's ace. The art is lively, the story has enough new material to feel fresh, and it's great to see Spidey himself showing genuine wit. Great. | |

| I'm still waiting till my local library catches up on the Ultimate Spidey "post-Ultimatum" series called "Ultimate Comics: Spider-Man". I think the first paperback volume came out a short while back so it shouldn't be long till they get it. | |

| I like "Ultimate Spider-Man" comics, but I really prefer Earth616 comics, the guy first introduced to the world via "Amazing Fantasy #15", I prefer a guy with a real secret for an identity over a guy with an overexposed identity | |

| So, I'm finally catching up with the series, reading the issues I never read, which are 95% of them, and I read the first 32 issues just today | |

| I love how Bendis added in Kitty Pryde as a love interest for Peter, she's a really good addition to the cast. Also, upon reflection Ultimate's Carnage is much better than 616 Carnage. | |

| She didn't last long with 'im though. Also, am I the only one who's weirded out at how Pete's currently dating Carnage( well, technically)? I mean, sure the DNA came out of the Gwen Clone when Eddie took it and now she's left as just an exact clone, but it's the thought that counts that she was formerly Carnage... | |

| Well Carnage is going to have an upcoming storyline where the symbiote attaches to a woman, so maybe it won't be as creepy as that. | |
