He has little to say about the differences in the sub and dub. The problem is mainly that GT was full of cruddy writing in the first place.

GT episode 18

Since I again have nothing to say about the episode, I’ll just talk about a general thing. In this case the narrator. This is easily the worst narrator out of all the dubs. If you haven’t heard it, imagine a guy trying to do some cool Solid Snake type accent and failing horribky at it. The stupid lines he has to spout, as well as the annoying way he pronounces “GT” don’t help much either.

Japanese title: “To Battle!! The Might Mutant – Rild”
English title: “A General Uprising”

Both the dub and the original have Goku say that Rildo is stronger than Buu.

When the Mega Cannon Sigma reappear the dub adds that these ones are DNA replicants of the previous ones. In the original, they’re just the same guys we saw previously.

Myuu has an Russian accent in the dub, but FUNi again feels the need to shoot itself in the leg by having the doctor say “Wunderbar!”. That’s German.

In this episode we find out Trunks has been working with Gill all along, yet a few episodes ago he was raging on the tiny robot for betraying them when he was all by himself in both the sub and the dub. Fantastic writing.

Baby’s dub voice is awful. Just awful.

GT episode 23

I hate this.

Again, the Blue Ocean version was superior overall. Even though that version had subpar voice acting overall, Baby's voice was at least halfway decent.

Yeah, I liked Baby's Blue Water voice.

GT episode 24

Japanese title: “Baby Counterattacks!! Sought-After Saiyans!!”
English title: “Discovering the Truth”

When Baby is impersonating other people his own voice is mixed with the possesed person’s voice in the dub, defeating the whole point of impersonating. Not only that, but you must be really deaf or dumb or both to not know something is up when you hear that ridiculous voice.

GT episode 25

Japanese title: “This is Terrible!! Baby Appears on Earth”
English title: “Baby’s Arrival”

We all know dub Vegeta gets mad at Chi-Chi for not noticing that he shaved his moostache. But in the original he actually gets mad because Chi-Chi is staring at him and not saying hello. So yeah, the dub is a million times better here. Moostache scene is win.

No mention in the dub that Goku and co. have been travelling for nine months now.

Valese is originally called Palace.

Impersonating Baby doesn’t use a second voice anymore. Looks like he learned some tricks.

Hercule-O-Meter: 4 + some chants from the public that I won’t count.

GT episode 26

Japanese title: “Gohan and Goten... The Worst of Fights Between Brothers!?”
English title: “Saiyan Hunting”

Dub Chi-Chi slaps Goten because he disrespects her, original Chi-Chi slaps Goten for not naming Vegeta properly (“Vegeta” intstead of “Vegeta-san”).

When Baby is alone (or with Gohan) he uses his real voice in the original. The dub instead now uses the characters’ voices, even though Baby doesn’t have to impersonate them anymore! Baby only uses his real voice in the dub when he’s thinking to himself.

GT episode 27

Japanese title: “The Scheme Completed!? Vegeta is Taken Over”
English title: “The Attack on Vegeta”

In the original Bra says this is the first time Vegeta is shopping ever. In the dub it’s the first time in a while. On a relevant note, GT should’ve had much more Vegeta/Bra scenes. They’re great.

Tuffle is of course not an accurate term.

In this episode Baby says why he wants to kill Goku instead of laying an egg in him: because he took direct action against him. There’s no mention of this (yet) in the dub, though.

GT episode 28

Japanese title: “Goku Returns... All of Earth Is My Enemy!?”
English title: “A Worldwide Problem”

Dub Baby Vegeta: It’s been quite a while, ey? Last time was on the planet M2!

Actually, it was planet Pital, like Baby correctly says in the original. It’s amazing how you can screw such stuff up.

Japanese Gohan: You barbaric saiyan!
Japanese Goku: I ain’t a Saiyan! I’m an Earthling!

Dub Gohan: How dare a barbaric Saiyan call my brother an amateur!?
Dub Goku: And how dare you, Gohan, call me barbaric!?

Nothing much to say here, except I like the Japanese exchange much, much more.

Dub Goku constantly goes on in this episode how they should solve things peacefully. Really annoying.
