| Story: 3/10
Since we all know the absolute shit that is the Naruto story I will not explain it here. Instead I will explain the story mode mechanics. Basically you walk around town collecting (ugh) scrolls, doing missions, and other various boring bullshit. Seriously, what is so wrong with just making a straight-forward story mode?! Why do we need this "Let's walk around town" bullshit?! It's a FUCKING FIGHTING GAME, NOT ADVENTURE GAME. And don't me started on the pig disgusting mini-games! Climb up the tree, hop through the trees, catch the animal/Kimimaro while hopping through the trees.! THIS GAME HAS OFFICIALLY MADE ME WANT TO BURN EVERY TREE I SEE! And the most annoying one is the god damn Hide-and-Seek one! The only thing I can say is particularly good is the fact that the Flashback missions (IE the Original Story Fights) don't have cutscenes. Therefore sparing you the shitty original story and just leaving you to fight. But it doesn't change the fact that the story mode comprises of Mini-games and item-collecting.
Gameplay: 10/10
Here's where the game actually shines. The combat is fluid and you are always on the move. Attacking, ninja tools, justsu and all of that shit flows perfectly. Ultimate Justsu consists of the onlly mini-game that should be in here. Support characters are avialable, when your health gets low enough you can use awakening mode which is basically super mode. There are plenty of characters, and most of them don't suck. COmbo's are varied to what you can pull out of your ass at the time. Plus the Giant Battles are actually epic now.
Sound: 10/10
Yet another part where this game shines. The music is surprisingly well done. Why do I say surprisingly? Because if you hear how shitty the anime's soundtrack is, you'll shit your pants at how much better this one is. Now we get to voice-acting. I didn't bother to put it on JP because my ears couldn't take listening to gibberish I can't understand, and the fact that Steve Blum, Liam O' Brien, and Crispin Freeman are voice acting in this game. Kirk Thornton is also in it too. Basically the voice acting is godly. Viz, no doubt hired the best actors to suit the roles for their cash cow.
Graphics: 9/10
This bing an anime game, visuals are very important. I am glad to say, this game is very pretty and the art style and graphics are better than the anime and manga.
Replayability: 6.5/10
The game has three modes. THAT'S IT.
Overall Score: 8/10 | |

| The only part where I disagree is the part about the story mode... personally, I enjoyed it. I'll admit, I'm surprised that I actually do. Even scroll-collecting seems enjoyable for some reason... o_O
I agree with everything else, especially concerning the soundtrack. I got this game for Christmas and Mom had, completely unintentionally, gotten me the special edition that comes with a soundtrack CD. Good shit.

| Dave Wittenburg voices Kakashi, and does it perfectly.
Besides he voiced the Prinnies starting with Disgaea 2.
That right there equals infinite win.

| If a guy appears so often as a voice actor, do you really want to hear him as the MAIN voice?
Imagine all your favourite male leads in games and anime, then replace them all with Sean Connery's voice. Wouldn't that get really annoying after a while?
