Spoiler:
A human kissed a hedgehog doesn't make the story bad, plus, there are some smart people who were able to figure out the Plotholes. Seriously, is we are going to bring up human and beast love, then let's bring Beauty and the Beast into this whole thing >_>
>____>
Beauty and the Beast is QUITE different. So far as I can recall, Belle NEVER kissed the Beast. She loved him, but she didn't need to show physical affection to do so. As one can really love a parent, a sibling, a pet, or a very close friend (in a platonic way; think Sam from "Lord of the Rings"), so too did Belle love the Beast. Furthermore, there is no apparent sexual tension between them; there is friendship and love, but nothing of a particularly intimate sense.
Conversely, the girl in Sonic '06 actually KISSES Sonic, the antromorphic and clearly non-human (let alone non-former-human, as was the Beast) hedgehog. To further complicate this bizarre situation, the story has a lot of sexually tense moments between them, made even more awkward by the girl seeming a little on the "underage" side.

Belle kissed the Beast. Even in the Disney version IIRC.
I agree with the rest of your post though.

Ok, then let's bring Bugs Bunny and Elemer Fudd during that one opera cartoon. Last I checked, no one had a problem with that. Atleast Sonic getting kissed saved the freaking universe >.>

This cutscene proves why SA2 Eggman was the best.

Sexually tensed moments? No, just romantic ones. Also, it's heavily implied that Elise, 17, fell in love with him, but there is nothing to suggest that Sonic experiences the same feelings.
And she kissed him to resurrect him. That kiss had nothing to do with her love.

Agree with you there, Kaio.
I think we can mark Mew down as a furry now. Evidence seems to implicate it.

Those "romantic" moments seemed to carry a lot of sexual tension, in my opinion. Besides, even if Sonic didn't reciprocate the relationship, that doesn't stop the fact that a 17-year-old was desiring him...
And to Kaio, I did a quick check. Yes, Belle did kiss the "Beast", but only after he had turned back into the prince.

They were good. Although Blaze the Cat's parallel dimension according to StH is the future which creates another plothole.

Maybe she got sent to the Alternate Dimension cause of the events in 06, but the effects of Solaris's flame being put out didn't affect that dimension, BUT, since Blaze fused with Iblis, who was part of Solaris, maybe, JUST MAYBE, the ripple effect of Solaris's death ripped the memories out of Blaze, and when she woke up in this alternate dimension, she was hailed as the new queen of the Sol Emeralds due to some prophecy in that dimension. In other words. Blaze's Dimension= An alternate future of Sonic's world? Silver's Future: The current dimension in the future.
It's just a theory though.
