It's nice to see Krillin and Piccolo get to do something useful, but the whole thing was rather poorly executed. Krillin alone should have been enough to murder the Spice Boys at this point in time.

Post Namek, Krillin would have been around 20,000 at the very least. The Ginyu, who were allegedly the strongest fighters in the universe, were only around 45000-55000, and Piccolo would have been at least 1000000, with Gohan probably not too far behind that, and comfortably higher when enrgaed.

but they could've undergone any number of stupid power ups in filler world
fortunately picoolo was meant to be weak in that saga hence everyone was allowed to be struggling
and still be plausible

The film ones and filler ones are different but it gives them no excuse to be able to tackle a guy who was fighting frieza equally and his bald friend and rape buddy.

Krillin pissed on 21 000 Ginyu. He was prolly around 27 000

I thought Ginyu in Goku's body was a little higher than that, but it's been a while since I read it, so I may be wrong. In either case, Krillin should've been able to handle anything Garlic Jnr's henchmen could come up with, and Piccolo could've killed them just by looking at them.

Kuririn was fighting somewhat equally with GInyu at 23,000.

In the 1st DB Movie, Garlic Jr. has three henchmen, all of whom were killed during the course of the movie.

In the Garlic Jr Saga (which I liked because Kuririn is awesome) the Spice Boys were all being empowered by the Makyo Star or whatever. That's why they're so strong. Still, Piccolo should've been able to kill them easily, I mean, didn't Gohan murder like 3 of them?
