Yeah, Luke Goss was great wasn't he? His villain in Hellboy II was virtually identical, so Del Toro obviously agrees.

I didn't think he was close to being as good in Hellboy as he was in Blade. But then the whole film was worse, so maybe that's it. He just seemed dull in Hellboy II, even though the similarities in the performance and character are obvious.
