Games with great music.

Honestly, music in games is something I rarely notice, unless it stands out. And it does that either when it's totally amazing or utter crap. When the music fits the mood and generally does it's job I don't tend to notice it.

Anyway, the game that first comes to my mind for great music has got to be Locoroco. I just love it. The lyrics are total gibberish, but it's arranged so brilliantly. Each of the different locoroco have a their own theme, and the levels have themes to which they sing along to as you play. And when there's a bunch they all sing different parts of the song, and when there's one it just sings one part, and it's awesome.



And my favourite song, the Red theme.

Okami's end theme is wonderful;

I've still got a soft spot for Budokai 3's opening;

And this one too; brilliant music, used to amplify the emotion of it's scene. At the time it was nothing short of devastating.

Yeah, the vocal version of B3's intro is the most memorable thing about that game.

And my favourite piece of music from Okami is the Sei'An throne room theme. And that's partly because I just love the throne room itself.
