Games that are great fun to play but...

if you were actually in those situation would either be boring as fuck, annoying as hell, or downright horrible.

In this context we will assume you have all the plot armour necessary to reach the end of the game.

I'm not an expert on the whole super mario storyline, but simply put being dragged into a land where you have to repeatedly rescue the stupidest princess in existence, who'll never be your girlfriend. Also you go and storm a castle and then you find out the princess isn't even then. That hardly seems rewarding. By the time you'd gone to a couple given the ordeal you'd been through i doubt you'd have the will to push on.

Wolverine in X-Men Origins at the time my healing factor was off
