i dunno it looks a helluva lot more tense around here then normal
idea being this is meant to be chilled in general

It's also harder to get into debates and arguments productively too, have you noticed?

Productive debates have never been big here. There's just very few topics that are actually about something worth discussing at length.

I remember it always being like that. The number of bullshit topics has increased, but I don't think the number of serious topics has gone down in last few weeks.

On a similar note, sometimes it's hard to tell a serious topic from a joke topic.

I find you can easily tell that by looking at who made the topic.

This forum is full teenagers, minus two or three. I'll be the first to admit that I spam because there is nothing important to talk about, I can't even vote.

From here on, I'll take that under serious consideration more so now than in the past. Especially with a topic I got involved in lately, but you already know how that turned out.

That was a serious topic though. Or at least I assume it was supposed to be.

For a while, so did I, Homer. So did I.

BD made the topic, but I think he had good intentions for the topic, and some, including myself, blew it out of proportion.

I don't think anything was blown out of proportion. Some people were just joking around is all.

the topic most certainly was a serious one

i guess something to be considered is people may have some views which we may consider horrible
but that in itself doesn't mean they weren't taking the topic seriously on the other hand some of those topics were pretty much trolling
and in actuality were resulting in you being flamed
