Do they seem pointless to anyone else? You get 10 points on the card for every £1 you spend, and for every 1000 points you get £2.50 off any purchase. So basically it's a "Spend £100 and get 2.5% off" card. And it costs £3 to get one in the first place.

I signed up for a GAME card when they were free, but since I very rarely shop there, it hasn't really been much of an incentive.
