Contact Beam
Plasma Cutter - Force Gun
Pulse Rifle

During my Impossible run, I didn't upgrade any of my guns but my Force Gun, and that was only +1 attack notch and +1 capacity notch O.o

I maxed out my Rig, Kinesis, and Stasis though.

Go ahead and try, bitch.

1) Force Gun for ambushes and fast opponents.
2) Plasma Cutter for accuracy
3) Line Gun for Lurkers (the babies with the tentacles)
4) Contact Beam for really strong opponents, bosses

On Impossible, I maxed the PC, the RIG and half of stasis.

And this game is definitely better than Spider-Man, Baal.

Chou, I will go to Europe myself. Find you and strangle you if you keep me from a Spider-Man game.

I read the comics, I'm a big fan.

I don't like the Line Gun. It's not strong enough to instantly dismember things on Impossible, and it has awful stopping power. Enemies just run right through it.

The mine thing is handy, but the Force Gun has a grenade launcher that explodes on contact, so the ability is kind of redundant/useless.

Just remember to take a look at Line Gun' range after you have maxed it.

I've just bought Dead Space, and my first thoughts....good grief the sound is well done. I realise not many of you will have it in full surround sound, that's one of the perks of being old and having your own place, but it sounds amazing.

Graphics aren't bad either. I'm liking it a lot thus far.

It's pretty scary, isn't it? Not "oh-my-god, I'm-traumatised-for-life" scary, but certainly scarier than something like Bioshock, or Resi 4.

It feels a lot like an Alien movie in places, all dark corridors, loud banging as things move unseen, and shadows emerging from the air ducts...good stuff. Got to love Isaac's stomp move as well.

Yes, that's part of the reason I don't like the direction Resi 4/5 have taken. They're getting closer to action games, and forgetting the fact that they started life as survival horror.

As a game Resi 4 never thrilled me, and in places it felt like it was being stretched a little thin. In fact, I'm still gobsmacked by how highly some people regard it. It was okay, but I could never have warranted some of the 96% scores that were thrown around when it was released. It's an 8/10 at best for me.

I agree. I did enjoy the gameplay of RE4 more though.

I just wasn't scared. Which pissed me off.

Might give Dead Space a go. Not a fan of survival horror, but it does look good.

The only survival horror game I've played (that I remember) is one the Clock Tower games. 3rd one I think. The main thing I remember about it was that it had a fear meter, and if you got too scared then the controls would freak out and it'd be harder to do stuff. Like run away.

Yea that game's weird, Haunting Ground was like that, but done much better I feel. The main chick was totally stacked too.
