Anyone play platformers

Just realised there isn't really a section for it
but also no one has mentioned any

I do. My favourite genre. They seem to be disappearing in favour of action/adventure games though.

i think dawn of something is gonna be out soon
the last in the legend trilogy

the ratchet and clank games are fast turning into run and guns

Yeah, R&C 2 was the best one so far (haven't played ToD though).

The Jak/Daxter games are my favourite recent platformer series. Especially the first two.

i got 3 i wasn't that impressed
i got bored o fi treal quick
it was just too easy
and his punch was so crap i just got irritated

I like platformers.

Prince of Persia, the old Spyro's (just started a vanilla save on 1 a week ago XD), Ratchet and Clank, FUCKING UNCHARTED (<3<3<3), and.... Psychonauts.

Hells yeah.

The 3rd R&C or the 3rd J&D?

i actually got both

but less impressed with J3

R+C 1 was better then 3 as well
i only needed a couple of guns to see me theough
mind the gladiator levels were cool

Yeah Jak 3 wasn't as a good as 1 or 2. It was a bit same-ey by that point. Same with R&C 3. The 2nd one had the gladiator stages too.

Jak 3 was too easy compared to Jak 2.

I found Jak 2 incredibly punishing when it came to difficulty. And for some reason...I enjoyed it.

I play Zelda, if you mean by all the games ^_^;;

Yeah, some of the missions did take time to perfect, but they were more satisfying for it. Hunting down those invisible metalheads in the forest took me the longest I think. My friend always said that mission reminded him of Vietnam. Not that he was there, but he likes the films.

But now when I do that mission, that's how I play it. I skulk around with the rifle. Great fun.
