Kamina's Legacy
-Kamina is born.
-Simon is born.
-A young Kamina is shown the surface by his father
-Simon's Parents are killed
-Years later Simon has become a digger for the village and discovers a glowing drill.
- Kamina greets Simon as his brother, and brings him into the Gurren Dan (Gurren Gang).
- Kamina, Simon, and the rest of the Gurren Dan try to break through to the surface but are stopped by the Village Chief.
- Kamina is locked up and Simon is sent to drill more.
- While drilling Simon discovers a big face.
- Simon frees Kamina from the jail and SImon wants him to see the Big face.
- The Village Chief finds them and is about to punish the two of them but a mech falls through the roof.
- A girl named Yoko falls into Jeeha Village and helps Kamina and Simon, she informs him that the mech is called a Gunmen. They escape from the Gunmen for a while and Simon shows them the Big Face.
- Simon activates the big face using the glowing the glowing drill and they confront the Gunmen.
- Kamina names the Big Face, "Lagann".
- Simon activates the powers of Lagann and destroys the Gunmen while breaking through to the surface.
- Simon, Yoko, and Kamina reach the surface.
- The group is confronted by two more gunmen and they are saved by Yoko's friends from Littner. (Or Ritona if you prefer)
- Yoko introduces Dayakka and Leeron.
- The Two Gunmen come back but with another, more powerful Gunmen joining them. These gunmen create tremors and these are the tremors that killed Simon's parents. Simon in a rage confronts them.
- Kamina decides he wants to pilot the new gunmen.
- Simon helps Kamina open the hatch.
- Simon and Kamina are badly damaged by the other two gunmen.
- Kamina is unable to control the new Gunmen but is able to after seeing a corpse.
- Kamina stops the two gunmen from killing Simon and the two brothers use their combined ability to finish off the two gunm.
- Kamina names the new gunmen "Gurren".
- Leeron performs maintenance on Gurren and Lagann and makes a new design for Gurren.
- Kamina, Simon, and Yoko go hunting.
- Kamina is confronted by a beastman, the Human Eradication Forces Commander, Viral.
- Simon and Kamina are defeated easily by Viral and his Gunmen "Enki".
- Kamina and Simon face Viral again.
- Kamina and Simon are losing badly. Mainly because Simon is too afraid to fight.
- After some encouraging by Yoko, Simon joins the fight, for real.
- Kamina and Simon perform "Gattai" (Combining)
- Kamina's form of Gattai is a rather twisted one as it does nothing.
- Viral proceeds to finish them off but is stopped as Gurren and Lagann actually do combine.
- Kamina names the combined Gunmen "Gurren-Lagann".
- Kamina and Simon defeat Viral, albeit Viral manages to escape.
- Kamina wages war on the Beastmen Central Area and the newly formed Gurren Dan plan to travel to the Base to defeat them for good.
- The Gurren Dan meets Kittan, Kiyoh, Kinon, and Kiyal of the Black Kinsmen. (In the manga the Black Kinsmen are met when they come across Littner)
- The Gurren Dan after defeating another group of Beastmen part with the Black Kinsmen.
- The Gurren Dan fall underground into Adai Village and come across people who think Gunmen are "Gods".
- The Gurren Dan are greeted by Rossiu Adai and the Village Priest.
- A woman gives birth to children increasing the population of people above "50". As a result straws are drawn and the two people chosen to go to the surface are Gimmy Adai and Darry Adai.
- The Village Priest asks the Gurren Dan if Gimmy and Darry can travel with them.
- As a result Kamina starts a ruckus and challenges Rossiu to a fight.
- A Gunmen falls through the roof and terrorizes Adai Village.
- Gurren-Lagann confronts the Gunmen.
- Another Gunmen comes to Gurren-Lagann's aid and defeats the Enemy Gunmen.
- Turns out the Priest was piloting the Gunmen and Rossiu saw him.
- The Priest confesses everything to Rossiu and Rossiu, Gimmy, and Darry accompany the Gurren Dan.
- Viral is called by Divine General Thymilph and informs him of the Gurren Dan. Thymilph decides to take Viral with him to stop the Gurren Dan's meddling.
- The Gurren Dan come across an Old Man who takes them to a hot spring resort.
- The Gurren Dan meet Kiyoh, Kinon, and Kiyal and the resort.
- Turns out the resort is a giant gunmen and the Gurren-Lagann defeats the mech. (In the manga Viral shows up and kills the Mech with his new "Enkidu")
- Viral shows up and challenges Kamina to a fight.
- While fighting Viral informs them of the Beastmen Capital.
- After Viral informed them the Gurren-Lagann is attacked by Thymilph's flagship the, Dai-Gunzan.
- Enemy Gunmen find and attack the rest of the Gurren Dan but are saved by Kittan in his new Gunmen, the "King Kittan".
- The Gurren-Lagann confronts the Dai-Gunzan and after much difficulty, defeats it.
- Kittan introduces Kamina to some new members of the Gurren Dan. Zorthy (Zoushi), Kidd, Iraak (Ailac), Jorgan (Jougan), and Balinbow (Barinbou).
- Kamina renames the Gurren Dan to the Dai-Gurren Dan (Great Gurren Gang).
- Yoko confesses her love for Kamina and they kiss. Simon sees this and is traumatized by it.
- Kamina plans to steal the Dai-Gunzan when they are confronted by Thymilph and Viral again.
- The Dai-Gurren Dan are confronted by Thymilph and Viral.
- Simon manages to merge with the Dai-Gunzan but he can't proceed because he is still saddened by seeing Yoko kiss Kamina.
- Kamina knocks some sense into Simon by punching him in the face.
- After retruning to the Gurren, Kamina is ambushed by Thymilph and Viral.
- After seeing his brother be killed by Thymilph and Viral, Simon goes into a rage and manages to gain full control of the Dai-Gunzan but because of his rage the Dai-Gunzan goes out of control and starts randomly firing.
- Viral is sent flying by the Dai-Gunzan into another area.
- Kamina comes back from the brink of death and after some encouraging words manages to combine with Simon one last time and kill Thymilph.
- Kamina Dies.
