Yo! I only played Disgaea 2 but I loved it! I plan on getting Disgaea 3!

Just out of curiosity, is your username based off of Baal from Nippon Ichi games? Or is there a character named Baal from anything else that don't know of?

It's the Canonite God Baal I named myself after. Only I thought he was one of the Devil Kings. But he was a Canonite God of Fertility. But I like to think I also named myself after Prinny Baal.

I thought so. Baal from Nippon Ichi was not, at least I don't think he was, ever known as a Devil King. Only a Supreme Overlord and Tyrant.

It's a cool name BTW.

Unlocking was a pain in the ass and then the actual dngeon was a pain in the ass.

It gets harder, the more you have. It's especially annoying, because the Ambling Pirate spawns, like, 85% of the time regardless of what floor your on. Fucker.

The Red Pirates seem to have the lowest spawn chance (at least for me it does), so the y were the last map I obtained.

I am so glad I didn't keep playing. Even though I wanted to play as Axel and Fubuki. I didn't Axel's JP voice was Nobuyuki Hiyama.

Eh... They are nothing special. Axel is just a more durable, yet slower version of Adell (Higher HP, Def, and Res, but lower SPD and I think ATK, not sure) and Fubuki is pretty much the same as the ninja girl (forgot her name, zam). I, personally, didn't recruit Axel simply because I prefer to call him on his cell phone and have him show up, so his theme music will play on the map.

There is also Kurtis, but meh...

what determines their level? i remember encountering a level 9999 pirate and i think it was the ambling pirate.

the average enemy level was around 2000-3000 i think

Each pirate group has a different level multiplier. The Ambling Pirate has a x8 level multiplier, which means his level will be 8 times higher then the average enemy level on the current floor. If the average enemy level is 2000 or higher, he will always show up at level 9999.

The Z Pirate has the highest multiplier of x30.

If your at a low level, that would be the most prudent course of action.

However, some of the pirates are not that tough, even at level 9999. All the pirates that show up within the first 20 floors are not strong.

i haven't played in a while but i think my guy is only around 2000 and the only reason i can beat guys that are much higher than me is because i have equipment to boost my stats a few 100,000 but he is the only one that can fight them right now..... if he dies i'm pretty much screwed

If your Majin is the last man standing on a map, he will get his stats doubled.

Yes, but only in the Land of Carnage.

It sucks that Axel isn't much better than Adell. He is voiced by Nobuyuki Hiyama after all. And Nobuyuki Hiyama's voice is enough to shatter the space-time continuum!
