Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World

I was disappointed when I heard that the ToS characters are pretty useless, but I still think it'll be a good game. And the monster system sounds actually interesting.

Plot is horrendous. Mystic Artes are horrendous. No world map = failure.

I'll just play it for the sake of playing it, but, it fails so fucking hard.

I was trying to be nice and optimistic, but screw that.
I dislike the new characters already.

Yeah, I was optimistic about it until I heard about the crap it turned out to be. I mean, I had little hope, but they shouldn't aim so low that they were digging into the fucking mantle of the Earth.

They could've done something with Emil being Dhaos and Marta being Martel.

I haven't really looked into this Tales game. From what you guys said, it sounds like its going to suck ass.

Oh well. There is always Vesperia.

Vesperia looks like it has much more potential. All this "mature" storyline and controversy over Flynn. Plus, it has twin girls who have a very strong mystic arte.

So I won't be buying this game now...

Vesperis isn't even going to be released in Europe.

It is, IIRC, Vesperia was announced to be released nine months after August. If all else fails, hope for Vesperia not being region locked.
