| yeah its true people make out that scrubs isn't serious but if anything i think it has one of the better representations as it has highs and lows when characters need to be serious they are and there's clearly lots of politics in the program | |

| Well, right. But Scrubs is still primarily a comedy. Just like Friends, and loads of other shows. They have to have a bit of drama to keep things interesting. Just like drama shows have to have a bit of comedy to keep things interesting. It's a vicious cycle. | |

| na i think scrubs is in a different league i wouldn't compare the serious issues it covers with any other comedies simply because scrubs almost always has serious issues the reason scrubs is so great is because of the fact it can balance both types of program so well | |
