Quite the opposite, i felt happy since they reunited once again in heaven.

I didn't feel sad when she died and I was one of the few who wasn't even spoiled about it beforehand.

No, she wasn't really that great of a character anyways. And only a good healer. But if you were like me and had no need for healers because you stocked up on virtually every item beforehand you didn't need her.

I liked Aeris because she was nice, which is a quality that is hard to find both in fiction and in real life nowadays. My sister even named her solid white cat Aeris because she was nice and wouldn't hurt anything.

I assume that Chihiro from Persona 3 FES is a prime example of that, then. Yet at the same time I don't remember Aeris being shy.

Aeris/Aerith was good in battle. A bit overpowered actually if you knew how to use her but even when I first played FF VII, back when I was a kid I didn't really feel sad over her death. Just kinda empty and annoyed because the section after that, I hate with a passion.

As far as her personality goes, I like her but I dunno. I've seen the Aeris archetype done to death in games. I wouldn't call Aeris shy though. Especially not in Crisis Core if you have played it.

I only played the very beginning of the Japanese version to Crisis Core, so I have yet to get there myself.

Still doesn't change the fact FFVII: AC is a shitty sequel and movie.

Aeris' only use is to make getting the Odin summoning easier. Cloud/Red XIII/Tifa 4 lyfe!

I was sad when Aeris died, and that made me want to beat the s*&t out of Sephiroth even more.
