Uh, I forgot how bad Warframe was at explaining things. Didn't understand any of that. They insist in explaining simple mechanics in terms of lore, I don't get it.

Yeah I wasn't sure what that meant either. I am hoping that means its easier to get stuff.

Been playing this again a little bit over the last couple of days, and there have been enough changes and additions that it feels like more of a sequel to the game we played last year than the same title. Numerous Prime Frames have come and gone namely Nekros, Vauban and Valkyr, as well as two new regular frames, Titania and Nidus.

Haven't had any time to try the Primes, but did get Nidus to try. Need to level a frame? First stop, Draco, right? Well, Draco is still there, but it's not what it was. I had to find an alternative levelling spot, but haven't yet found anything comparable within the redesigned star chart. Still, Nidus seems quite different to anything else in the game, so should be a decent challenge.

Also, I'm still sitting on a thousand-ish plat, and Loki Prime is now worth 250-300 plat. I've got three complete sets just sitting around. Might need to make a sale and grab myself a Tigris Prime.

Buu, if you're interested, these are the currently vaulted Frames and weapons, I've put a rough estimate to current plat value as well, just based on what I've seen in trade chat over the last couple of weeks.

Thanks a lot dude, haha i'm glad i bought a bunch of Nyxs and lokis on the cheap back in the day. I need to double check this later but i think i have a huge amount of that stuff.

Just like the first time, I can't be bothered to decipher how this game works. You guys will have to explain it all again.

Did the War Within, which gave me access to Sorties again. Got a Riven mode for some sniper rifle I don't own.

Is it just me, or is the lore of this game basically Event Horizon?

I'd wager a lot of the lore has been made up as they go, which is why it seems a bit of an afterthought in places.

I had concerns about the changes to the focus system, but they don't seem to have had a negative effect on the game. Zenurik still gets you back a large amount of energy for those less-than-efficient builds, which was my main concern.

I'm a little torn on the Plains themselves; granted, I've not spent a huge amount of time there, but it seems there's perhaps not that much to do outside of quests beyond farming for resources. Hopefully access to Archwing will make all the running round seem a little less like padding.

One of the things Warframe does well is provide some very unique weapons and frames. Sometimes they even have unexpected synergy with each other. Case in point? Nidus and Kohm. Kohm is a full-auto shotgun that fires a single slug on initial press and then fires an additional slug for every shot thereafter, up to a maximum of twelve, ie two slugs for second shot, three slugs for third, four slugs for fourth. It also has innate punch-through, meaning if enemies are lined up it can hit multiple foes with one shot, and Nidus' second frame ability is very useful for bunching enemies together.

I also did a brief comparison between Soma Prime and Tigris, though this was more to show to Moog. Soma's better and downing trash mobs than Tigris, sure, but when it comes to raw stopping power, nothing comes close.

That's why I use the Phage with Vauban and no one else.

I love Nidus, he's one of my favourite frames. Larva bunches everything together, then you can just murder thme. His abilities have amazing synergy, and whilst he has no shields he has a lot of health, really high armour and regenerates quicker than most things can hurt him. Hence tanking the hits from the level 110 Corrupted Bombards in the first Kohm video above!

The Hunter Munitions mod is really, really strong - in the right circumstances.
