my faith in horror games has been restored

playing outlast on the ps4, its been a very long time since ive jumped at a game but this one has gone right back to the horror game roots to truly scare the shit out of the player. Armed with only a camcorder & a run button you have to make your way through what looks like an insane asylum, the camcorder also has battery life so you gotta try & find them aswell. Its only a psn game so its not very big but with the evil within coming out later this year im hoping the horror franchise has come bk to scaring people rather than trying to do action aswell

I have really high hopes for The Evil Within, that's my one game that I hope is going to bring me back the horror I used to love so much.

haven't played a decent horror game since Silent Hill 3 or 4.

If all it does is make you jump it's not really horror. *snark*

its not just the "jump factor" it is a really tense game, the last of us had moments aswell but wasnt as tense because you always had a way out (gun, shank or wooden plank). Outlast has taken them away completely & from what ive heard TEW will be the same

Decent horror game since Silent Hill 3 or 4......

I am finally the not the only human being that likes 4.......
