So you know that dude that made those animes everyone's seen cause they're rad as hell? Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo? That dude's name is Shinichiro Watanabe and about a decade later he's finally directing his own anime again, this is SPACE DANDY.
Space Dandy is about a dude named Dandy who goes on galactic misadventures with his robot buddy, QT, and their new recruit, Meow, a Betelgeusian alien that is constantly called a cat by Dandy and QT. These adventures ooze of Watanabe's style of quirky humor, wonderfully animated action scenes, weird characters, and finally a varied soundtrack composed by several different star Japanese composers among them the most notable being Yoko Kanno. As of right now it is airing episodes on Adult Swim's Toonami block every Saturday at 11:30 PM EST and is licensed and dubbed by Funimation. If you happen to miss any episodes you can go right to Funimation's website and watch them there for free subbed, you just need a free account.

New episode was one of the weaker ones, but definitely still fun. After four episodes of great stuff in a row, I'm willing to let one not as great episode slide.

The Zombie one, returning the girl, underwear, and space race were an amazing four episodes to have in a row. This one was great too, featuring TELEPORTING USING THOSE SICK BEATS!
