| Chris Evans still has three films left in his contract, he's not going anywhere for a while at least. | |

| Yeah, Bucky has 9 though. I expect Captain America will die in Avengers 3 or something. | |

- I haven't seen this so I have no idea what you're talking about, I was just pointing out that inevitably something is not going to work out for the main character and it's probably going to be Captain America because his contract is almost up but the dude who plays Bucky's isn't.
oh right, okay. but yeah, my point was that one of the main characters isn't going to die in the first movie though, so anyone who saw this movie and thought that character was really gone is an idiot. but knowing he'd be back didn't really detract from what in my opinion was actually a pretty touching scene. usually, these scenes are like: whatever, we know he's coming back anyways, he's not really dead...and you end up not really caring for it, but this was done wonderful.

| I really enjoyed this, it was great. I totally get the complaints at the end credits scene, it was just a silly joke, I'm not particularly bothered by that though. Drax is the best. | |

not sure if I get this correctly, but to me it reads like you're saying Drax is in the end credits scene, which he isn't... I don't get the hate for the end credits scene though...sure, it's just a silly joke. it was a better one than The Avengers eating shawarma. everyone complaining should stop feeling so entitled to getting a teaser for the rest of the series.

everyone complaining should stop feeling so entitled to getting a teaser for the rest of the series. You're not getting it correctly (I'm well aware he's not in it, I've seen it), it's a separate sentence and a separate thought. I'd typically paragraph to make it clearer, but considering I was writing a line, I didn't bother. It's not about being entitled - I'm not saying anything about expectations - I'm just saying it was a silly joke and therefore hit and miss. Hence I understand it not appealing to everyone. Indeed, much like the Avengers' shawarma scene.

| I wasn't particularly talking about you about feeling entitled.
just something I've observed among other people who hated the end credits scene.
and yeah, i figured it might've been a seperate thought, but yeah, it's the way it was constructed that made me think, hmm, maybe he only saw the Drax scene with Groot, cause that does come a bit after the actual movie too.
But then again, i probably should've figured you'd be the kind of guy that actually waits til the very end, but ah well.

| There was comedic build up for the shawarma scene though. I didn't mind this film's post-credits scene, but I can see why it would be more hit or miss than the Avengers post-credits. | |

| It is, and it will be for a while I think. Don't think Ant-Man is going to blow it away. Avengers 2 sure didn't. | |

| Winter Soldier is a close second, but due to things I mentioned previously like things the characters did seemed purely for plot progression rather than making any kind of sense this edges it.
Main reason i loved this is outside of the action the banter was great and I found the whole things entertaining from beginning to end. I'm watching it again tomorrow (finished watching this earlier today) so i'll comment on how well this holds up to multiple watches.
EDIT: I weren't a fan of gomorrah though, rocket and starlord were amazing.
Also Vin Diesel has finally found a role he was born for.
