anyone else getting this for ps3? i know buu will eventually. i'll probably preorder since i can get this for thirty dollars.

I may as well. I know Mikey's gonna either get his mom to get it or leech it off of me (in the case that I buy it off PSN).

the file is more than likely going to be huge since they're releasing this on disc. i've seen people assume over ten gb. i wouldn't be surprised either since this supposedly has 30 heists

Buu is getting the PC version like a bro.

I'm debating if i buy the PS3 version preordered as its cheaper and then buy the steam version at the first sale.

PS3 version is £23 and the steam version £30, which is a weird and unusual price difference seeing as PC games are usually cheaper.

Yeah ended up getting ps3 version as its cheaper.

This seems pretty good, ran into a couple of glitches with objectives but hopefully they're fixed for release.
There are a lot of leveling up systems in the game now, you get EXP and money from heists and both are required if you want an ability, for example for one of the first tier skills you need 1 skill point and $4.5k. Weapons and modifications only cost money, but they have to be unlocked before they can be purchased through heist rewards or this 'Payday' thing that I don't entirely understand. Sometimes when you finish a mission you get to pick one of three face down cards and you'll get a reward depending on what flips, I've seen mask customisation options, weapons and mods so far.

I'm not sure how much is cut out from the Beta, Safe house customisation was mentioned by a character but I couldn't find a way to do it, but the three heists I played were all good and it seems like there's a lot to unlock and use so I could probably sink some decent time into the game. If anyone wants to play I have a Beta invite on Steam, just send me a PM or something.

how large is the file for the beta?

11.5gb, but that's with high resolution textures and stuff.

Since I ordered off Amazon and decided to get the super saver shipping, I'm looking at 5-9 days after it's released. I think even Mikey'll have it before I do. (In fact, I'm sure he will. His birthday's next week and I'm giving him $50 on PSN).
