I have to wonder who actually buys these films, but apparently the studio has never lost money on a project before. It only takes them about 4 months to make each film too, with a budget of less than a million dollars for each.

As in tapes? No.

The sci fi channel makes me aware of them. They must get a lot of cash from clueless people accidentally buying the wrong film.
