i've yet to see a film by them i enjoy either spirited away almost had me sold but the second half went down the crapper

| I am so annoyed at Level 5 for concentrating on the Wii and handhelds for so long when they coul have been making stuff like this. | |

| Nice. Level 5 is an amazing studio. Anyone ever play White Knight Chronicles? Never got around too. | |

Yeah i did i played both still working on no 2 though. - A_Nonny_Moose wrote:

nah its only the main character's obsession that makes it bad but its a good game overall but takes 500h plus to plat the online aspect is pretty good and with WKC 2 up to 6 players can play together and you join a guild like your typical MMO lol some missons take over an hour to do or much less if your overpowered.

| Yeah i've been wondering the same, i don't care for ghibli but i do love level 5.
Everything just seems to be talking in the vids i seen. Is this a standard turn based RPG?

| From the looks of the gameplay from playthrough vids of the Japanese version, the combat looks FFXII-esque. | |

| I decided to give myself an early birthday present and nabbed my pre-order of the Wizard Edition now that it's out. The book that came with it is neat. It's pretty much the one used in the game, filled with all sorts of information lore, and so forth.
Hope I can recapture that magic Level 5 delivered with DQVIII all that time ago.

EDIT: I went back in time to create this topic before Moose

| It's a decent game, but the battle system is a bit awkward, and the world and story wasn't as spellbinding as DQVIII's like I had hoped. It's a JRPG that pretty much plays it safe with not a lot of extraordinary qualities. You'll probably enjoy it if you like classic RPGs but, aside from the pretty visuals, don't expect it to blow your mind. | |
