Also well done Microsoft for managing to release even less useful information than Sony did.

There was that 10 seconds of the conference where they mentioned 15 exclusive titles in the first year. 8 of which would be new IPs. Only 1 of which we actually saw, presuming Quantam Break is exclusive (I forgot if they said it or not).

Hopefully they juust wanted to get all the guff out of the way before E3 so they can put a huge focus on the games at E3.

Because the only thing that's going to get me to buy a console is the games, but it seems like most people, and the industry, think differently.

they better have some kick ass exclusives then, cause any intent on purchasing that i might've had has gone straight out the window, never to be seen again.

It has an HMDI In and Out, which is interesting. Presumably that's so it can sit between the cable TV box and the TV, or however TV works in America.

Games can be installed to the HDD and played without the disc. But obviously to stop multiple people owning the game by swapping a single disc around, the install is tied to an account and there's a fee for any further installations to other accounts.

Whether the installs are mandatory, and whether you can pop a used game in and play from the disc, is yet to be confirmed.

You know, if Sony allow this install feature as well, then they will sure as hell need to sort out their digital pricing next gen.

It'll be incredibly retarded if a digital download costs £60 when you could buy the retail game for £40 and then still play without the disc.

EA Sports dumping the online pass and jumping into bed with Microsoft makes so much more sense now though. Why bother with an online pass when there's an all purpose used-game pass built into the system's OS.
